- BANKING & FINANCE — UTME:
i.Five Credits at WASC, GCE and NECO ‘O’ Level /NABTEB or Merit passes in
Teacher’s Grade II at not more than two sittings in subjects which include
English Language and Mathematics.
- BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION — UTME:
Five (5) SSC credit passes including English Language,
Mathematics, Economics, plus any two (2) of Accounting, Business Methods,
Commerce, Government, Geography, and Statistics.
- CIVIL LAW — UTME:
Credits
in 5 O’Level subjects including English Language and Literature in English with,
at least, a pass in Mathematics at Senior Secondary School Certificate
Examination (SSCE) or General Certificate Examination (GCE) or its equivalent
at one sitting or six (6) including the above mentioned subjects in not more than two sittings,
together with an acceptable pass mark in the Unified Tertiary Examination (UTME)
organised by the Joint Admissions and
Matriculation Board (JAMB)
- ACCOUNTING — UTME:
General Admission Requirements: FOUR-YEAR DEGREE PROGRAMME
(i)Admission to 100
level is on the basis of performance in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation
Examination (U.T.M.E.) conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculations
Board (JAMB) and University Post-UTME screening or meeting the basic
requirement as specified by the University.
(ii)Candidates must
take English Language and Mathematics and two other subjects from Economics,
Geography, Commerce, Government and Accounts & Book-keeping at the UTME
(JAMB).
(iii)Only those who
score up to the minimum pass mark will be considered for admission,
notwithstanding whether such candidates already passed the minimum O’L
requirement
(iv)All applicants
shall be placed at levels determined by their performance at a literacy and
communication competence test
(v)Candidates must
have at least five ‘O’ Level Credits in GCE/SSCE/NECO/NABTEB at not more than
two sittings in subjects which must include English Language and
Mathematics. The remaining three
subjects must be from Economics, Geography, Commerce, Government and Accounts
& Book-keeping.
(vi)Candidates are
also required to fulfill programme entry requirements as may be prescribed from
time to time.
- AGRICULTURAL ENGINEERING — UTME:

- PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION — UTME:

at not more than two sittings in English Language, Mathematics, Economics,
government and any other one
subject from Business Management, Civic Education, History, Commerce,
Financial Accounting, Book Keeping, Religious Studies and Literature in English
- AGRICULTURE — UTME:
At
least five credit passes in Senior Secondary Certificate (SSC) to include
English Language, Mathematics, Biology or Agricultural Science, Chemistry and
Physics in not more than two sittings.
- CIVIL ENGINEERING — UTME:
Candidates
must have passed Minimumof 5 passes at credit level in West African School Certificate
Examination or SSCE/NECO or GCE in not more than 2 sittings
The ‘O’ Level in five subjects must include
Mathematics, English Language, Physics and Chemistry.
Candidates are also required to have
acceptable pass in UTME and PUTME.
It is an added advantage but not
mandatory for candidates to have Further Mathematics and Technical Drawing at
credit levels.
- FISHERIES — UTME:
Candidates
must have obtained at not more than two (2) sittings credit passes in five (5)
subjects which include: English
Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology or Agricultural Science and any other
relevant subjects like Geography, Economics with at least a pass in Physics.
The Credit pass in Agricultural Science must be backed up by at least a pass in
Biology.
- TRANSPORT PLANNING & MANAGEMENT — UTME:
Candidates must have obtained credit pass at not
more than two sittings in five subjects and/ or in one sitting, at the ‘O’
level / Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (WAEC, NECO, GCE). Such
credits must include English Language and Mathematics, Economic and any other
two from Geography, Biology, Commerce, Government and any other related
subjects from sciences, and social sciences.
- ECONOMICS — UTME:
Credit
in English, Mathematics and any other three subjects from Commercial Class, Art
and Science (including Economics) subjects
- SECRETARIAL ADMINISTRATION — UTME: Candidates
shall satisfy the University requirements of five (5) GCE (OL)/SSCE/ NABTEB
subjects at credit level including English Language and Mathematics and any
other three Business subjects such as Economics, Government, Geography, Store

1.Candidate seeking admission to the four-year Degree
