Five (5) SSC credit passes in

- ENGLISH/IGBO EDUCATION — UTME:

A Senior Secondary
School Certificate (SSCE/WAEC/NECO/NABTEB or GCE ‘O’ Level/NBAIS or NABTEB)
with five (5) credits including English Language and Mathematics at not more
than two sittings. In addition to the general admission requirements, candidates
wishing to read English as a single major must have Credit in literature in
English at WASC/SSCE/GCE ‘O’ Level/NBAIS/NABTEB or NECO.

Certificate (TC II) with credit or merit in five subjects including Mathematics
and English Language.
- FINE & APPLIED ART (DOUBLE MAJOR) — UTME:
a)Â Â Â Â A senior Secondary School certificate (SSC) or
G.C.E. O Level (WAEC, NECO and NABTEB) with 5 credit passes in not more than
two (2) sittings including Mathematics and English.
b)    A grade II Teacher’s Certificate (TC II) with
credit or merit in five (5) subjects including Mathematics and English.
c)Â Â Â Â 5 credit passes in R.S.A. or City and Guilds
intermediate certificate and the Federal Crafts Training Certificate including
Mathematics and English.
- HOME ECONOMICS (DOUBLE MAJOR) — UTME:
a)Â Â Â Â A
minimum of five (5) credits including English and Mathematics and other 3 in
any of the related areas like Foods and Nutrition, Home Management, Clothing
and Textiles, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Agriculture, Health Education,
Integrated Science and Economics at not more than 2 sittings.
b)Â Â Â Â For
candidates who have offered courses in Vocational and Technical Education such
as NABTEB, RSA or City and Guilds Intermediates Certificate, and Federal Craft
Training Certificate, credit/merit in at least five (5) subjects at not more
than two sittings with credit in English and Mathematics are acceptable as
substitute qualifications.
c)Â Â Â Â Associateship
Certificate in Education award by an approved institution in Nigeria or abroad,
is also acceptable as qualification provided it is assessed by Federal Ministry
of Education to meet the same requirement as Nigerian ‘O’ level certificate.
- EARLY CHILDHOOD CARE EDUCATION — UTME:

and agricultural science. Credits/Merits in English language and Mathematics
are required for Candidates wishing to study Chemistry.Â
- COMPUTER EDUCATION/BIOLOGY — UTME:
a)Â Â Â Â Senior secondary school certificate of WAEC or
NECO or any other equivalent certificate from recognized examination bodies
with credit in five subjects including English Languages and Mathematics at not
more than two sittings. Two of the credits must be in the subjects relevant
subjects making up the combinations the candidates wish to offer.
b)    A grade II Teacher’s Certificate (TC II) with
credit or merit in five (5) subjects, two of which must be relevant to the
course the candidate wishes to offer. Credits in English language and
Mathematics are required for Candidates wishing to study Biology.Â
- INTEGRATED SCIENCE/COMPUTER SCIENCE EDUCATION — UTME:
a)Senior Secondary School Certificate of WAEC,
NECO, NABTEB or any other equivalent certificate from recognized examination
bodies with credit in five (5) subjects including English Languages and
Mathematics at not more than two sittings.

- MATHEMATICS/COMPUTER SCIENCE EDUCATUION — UTME:

with credit in five subjects including English Languages and Mathematics at not
more than two sittings. Two of the credits must be in the subjects making up

Credits/Merits in English language and Mathematics are required for Candidates
wishing to study any science programme.
c)Â Â Â Â A pass in Pre-NCE Mathematics final
examination or a pass in IJMB Mathematics final examination and a pass in JAMB
is required for admission.

with NABTEB- NTC must possess at least five (5) credits which must include
Mathematics, English and three other relevant subjects, WAEC Technical
Certificate or City and Guilds Intermediate Certificate with credit/merit in at
least five (5) subjects three of which must be components of Technical
Education are acceptable qualifications.
